Overrun

Screams of unfiltered chaos ring through the air as you approach a town off in the distance. Billowing smoke, clashing metal, and fleeing civilians all point towards an brutal and violent conflict. You take up your crossbow to fight back against the flood of monsters and free those under their oppression - but at what cost?

Overrun is a medieval fantasy rail-shooter with a moral twist, where you play as a lone wanderer who's come across a town under siege by ruthless and cruel monsters. It falls to you to help those in need however you see fit - even if it means compromising your moral compass.

Overrun is a capstone university project developed as a proof of concept by Simon Gillespie, Jai Wieloch, and Harry Kalogirou.  It was designed with a lightgun in mind, though this build works fine with a mouse/keyboard as well as a lightgun.
